18th today! :D thanks for all the wishes! a year difference between seventeen and eighteen but the feeling is same ol' same ol'. no celebration this year as my mouth is still out of order. but i hope papa will get another cake. i find someway to eat it, blend if i must.
over one year, many stuff learnt, accomplished, friends made and all. braces. short hair. op. hockey. more friends. new class ja concert- just some to name. im appreciating what i have so far. love the people making up a fraction of my life. i hope there would be more to look forward to and next year when im nineteen, i'll will look back and smile :))

My face is still as swollen as ever but my lips are healing. Er yiyi brought my sisters and my cousins for buffet at swissotel yesterday. Pure evil. ohwells, theres next year :) all my meals been liquids so far. corn soup, pumpkin soup, potato soup, chicken soup, beef soup, mushroom soup, milkshakes, smoothies. I need real food!! i want nuggets, pizza, ikea, steaks, spagetti, sushi. i thought that at least i would at least lose a little weight but sadly, that doest seems to be the case.

I want a holga. next time maybe.

Gp paper was alright, the topic that i was able to do on came out. hope i'll be able to do well :] Went shopping!! went town with huiyu :) saw clothes that i like but sadly, i currently have no disposable income to speak of. saw very little indication of GSS. hmm. and yongyuan thinks i dont go town and mug at home everday =_= i saw a lambo!! and i bought some spongebob items. still young at heart ay.

on wed, the nurse tried to draw the blood from me for the self-blood donation. an after she poke the yakult straw sized needle, the vein decided to disappear. -_- she wriggled, yes wriggled, the needle around to try find the vein. grossed out to the max. still cant find it and she told me to come another day.
then this morning my mom smsed me telling me to call her urgently. freaked me out, i was thinking something urgent happened at home. turns out the nurse wants me to go back this morning. so i left school halfway. i feel so guilty for missing lessons again :X but i still went, no choice eh. hah.
thank goodness it went alright. have to go back again next wed again.heard that a cheerleader broke her arm today and an ambulance came. eww x 100000.

Just went to check my mail and i have like 142 messages in my spam box. i dont need a fake gucci item, rolex watch, will never be that lucky to win thousand of dollars from some place in africa, dont need an enlargement of a certain male body part, dont have a sex life that i need to hype up, dont need to have replicas of branded item that i totally have no interest in and definitely doesnt need to lose 10kg in a week. r-u-b-b-i-s-h. or just pure spam. But then, sometimes, its these messages that remind you of your existence on earth.

Signed out of school yester to get some dental stuff done. the dentist put some hooks onto the braces on mon and its pokey. i feel ulcers coming up. yester, went to get face bow done and made appointment for blood doantion. haha!! im donating blood to myself. yakult straws size. eew. the surgeon wanted me to check for blood disease such as hep A and so on. and hiv. o.0

Doc: i need you to go for an hiv test
me: (!!???!!) HUH?! erm...orh.
Doc: You havent been naughty have you? *in a joking tone*
me: HUH!!!???? NO...!!!!!!!
and there just happen that a good looking doctor was in the room when this doc asked.

i think i should spend my money more wisely. i spent about 16 plus at the japanese food shop at Central. and its all on tibits.

A pool of water somehow seeped into my looks-waterproof-but-not-waterproof bag yesteray. My physical geo notes were inside. so were my earphones, camera, notebook and worksheets. science decided to spring into action and chromatography took place. yeash... so now my notebook is in a whirl of colours on wach page in descernible writings. i now know that my black pen is made up of purple, pink and dark blue colours. saddened :X

i have yet and dont intend to copy my work, rarely drift off during lectures and have been doing my tutorials. cheerios!! and there's a new topic for econs which was not touched on last year.
i have always wondered how the little things in life gets invented. those things that are usually taken for granted. like tissue. like contact lens. i still find the abilities of contect lens amazing.
i cant wait for september. exams will be over and with no pw or chinese. muahaha. maybe i should go take up some course.
Nationals in 1 week time. pretty nervous about it. Im playing forward now and that makes me super nervous on the pitch. Mid, back and front, i've been them all. I want to do my best for all the upcoming trainings and matches. Im treasuring them as im not sure when will i get to play again after may28 >.<

I was eating an egg the other day and was wondering whether i should eat the yolk. after considering the minerals that the egg yolk contains that not many food have, i decided to eat it. Since about two years ago when i learnt that heart attack can occur to people less than twenty years old. i sure would not want to die of such a tragic death. neither would i want to die of a grotesque death. i want the cause of death on my death cert to state 'cause of death: natural' i want to live to 90yrs. After i bought my mini cooper, visited russia, visited africa, gone to taiwan a million times, go for sky diving, bungee jumping, ate godiva, earn tons of money.

Time really flew. ee. i sound so cliche. its thursday already!! huiyu and i were discussing that there were only like a few more months to promos and even less time for mid years. eek. I am much happier this year in studies wise. i was suffering from h2 chem depression the whole of last year. the friends that i get to know this year are great too :)

On sunday, my dad went with me to the padang to watch the F1 car that was presented by johnnie walker for some 'drink dont drive' event. even though the sun was hot, it was fab. i finally get to see and hear a non-stationary formula car. my view was blocked the first time the car was being driven as im vertically disadvantaged but my dad helped me to take photos. I managed to squeeze to the barrier and got a front view. the rev-ving sound was like 'Whoa!!!'. sweet.

On sat, after training i went to suntec to accompany my mom to see yang zhong wei at his autograph session. it was blazing hot >.<>

i dont like heavy heavy rain. my shoes were utterly soaked. the water kept seeping into my shoes until the point i just bother whether i am stepping into puddles. and my umbrella lets water in. my mom said that i can use her auto-umbrella. yea!

this week passed by in a zoom such that i even forgot what i ate yesterday for lunch. was sitting in my dad's car this morning and i was like 'ay..its friday'

freaky thing happened last evening. sis and i got home and we saw this pair of office shoes outside our door. it was placed in such a way that it looked like the person had stepped out of the shoe and into our house. we were thinking our dad got home but when we went in, papa wasnt in so we assumed that he went out again after coming home. forgotten about it until my dad really came home.

the first thing he said was 'have visitor?'

i was like 'your shoe wad'

papa: no..! im wearing mine

me: (walks to the door) *freaked out* we saw it when we came home!! we thought it was yours!!

papa: no..!!

me: *still freaked out*

papa: *puts shoes at the staircase*

me: *went back to room, still freaked out*

the next morning, at 6am, the shoes were gone. !!! is this a prank or what. it better be a prank. i fear to think of what it may be instead.

everyday is such a rush. Sometimes i wish that i can pause time. Like some super hero. maybe i be called 'Time girl' of something.

Lessons these few days have been alright even though i have yet to get rid of my stoning habits during lectures. A01 is not bad. the people are nice :) the breaks each day are added bonuses since we get to rest instead like the others who have to go lessons after lessons. but today's break was 4 hours. not nice to be cooped inside school. it would be nice if we can leave school for that period of time and maybe go catch a movie. my thursday time table is not very good in that i dont end at 1.30 and cant go lunching with them :(

Quite glad that im not taking the common test. i was wondering what would the situation be like. Most probably i will be suffering from breakdowns like every single day and eventually when my grades are out, i will most probably be barred from the Nationals *choy choy*

Im the Pe rep! i thought that i just would have to do the warm ups and stuff but it turns out that im the house rep too. err... if i have realised that, maybe i should not have volunteered eh. i dont have the byron shirt. i bought keller, nobel and polo last year. so theres a probability of 1/2 that i will get one of these houses but no. i have to get byron -_- im not gonna buy anymore shirts. i recently realised that i already have 10 shirts to wear for school including hockey tees. what came to me to get that many shirts? argh.

Reading jodi picoult's perfect match currently. My sister's keeper is still my favourite picoult's book so far.

Went to walk along ochard on thurs. walked from dohby gaut mrt to far east plaza. i prayed for perfect weather but apparently the sky didnt hear my pleas. i love going to handicraft shops like spotlight :) went on a search for a pencil case. everytime i past the istana, i would wonder what would happen if i ran towards the guards at the gates screaming like a mad person.

Kinokuniya have these nice cloth pencil cases but it was way beyond my budget. Borders as usual, does not have stock of the one layer pencil tin cases. But... just as i was leaving, i saw these pink triple decker pencil tins hanging by the counter. and there were like less than 5 left. hee, i took one and hid it behind the history section where like almost no one goes to. went to meet my sis and came back to borders again. there was like 20% discount for students for the march hols. bought the pencil tin and the 8th princess diaries book. and i got a discount of $4!! hwahaha. waiting for the 9th book to drop in price. the 8th book is erm..shallow? the content is bascially about mia considering whether to have sex with her boyfriend so that he wont leave her for Japan to make his invention. but i still bought the book cos i have like book 1-7 and its a pity not to collect the whole series.

Went to school at 7am for the Nafa test. My sit and reach as usual is cannot make it but at least i stretched 6cm more as compared to my usual. But that means that i have to take PE lessons :( i shall go have a chat with my pe teacher and let him allow me to have a early retest so that i can sit out pe. My standing broad jump was surprising. i jumped 172 on the first attempt when i usually only jump 150. yeah-ness :) For the 2.4 run i ran 13min14sec! thanks jess! double yeah-ness! two years ago, my 2.4 timing was a few seconds short of failing. last year was 14min10sec.

i shall plan my study time table for the holidays.

Watch L changed the world with benj. It was quite nice! I like the L guy. I finally went to find out his real name which is Ken'ichi Matsuyama. According to wiki, his birthdate is 5th March 1985 which is… tomorrow! And hes only like 5 years older. Tsk tsk, benj ar..how old did you say he was? Apparently hes a well known actor and have acted in about 19 movies and 5 dramas. He acted in Gokusen and 1 Litre of tears but er..i didn’t remember seeing him. His actions are quite cute and I like the look on his face when the girl put her head on his shoulders. His stunned look was super funny/cute. Watch it if you havent! :D Hes much more good looking in real life!

Since i cant speak yesterday, my handphone was my 'voice'. i was literally a mute and even if i tried to speak, it either came out as a whisper or a croak. torture. BUT after eating the food, my voice came back. it was not my normal voice but at least i can make some sound. Then, i lost it again :( woke up this morning and i could speak again :) but i sound very man now. haha, i sound like im in the midst of breaking my voice.

I cant speak properly at the normal tone. i could only whisper to make my sentence coherent. great, if i get rob on the streets or whatsoever, i cant even scream. charging my phone to its full battery now since smsing would be my only way of communication. too bad i dont know sign language. hmm. even if i do, those around me wouldnt understand.

Ran the cross country yesterday with Jess, my best running partner :) Actually didnt want to run nor walk since i dont see myself getting a badge. then ms ho says that she wants us to run. at the start of the run, me and jess had to attempt to run through many people who just stop right in the middle of the pathway. i had to erm, give them a friendly shove to make them move to the side. wanted to give up many times but forced myself to push on. haha, me and jess only realised that each of us were thinking about walking at certain parts of the run after we finished. Polo won!!

Went for a meal after school and my voice became worse. Ade and Ben said that my voice was fading with every sentence. Strepsils came to my aid. Running cross country tomorrow, hope for a cloudy day.
Two weeks ago, rumour came that the A levels results would be out. Then, they said that it will be last week. Then they say that it was supposedly today -_- . I supposed it would be next week. Cant wait to get the chinese results, at least i will know whether i would have to retake or not. NO0ooo....i dont want any more chinese lessons.
The Newpaper reported that during the total defence day, some schools did the japanese occupation thing. No drink stores open, canteen only selling sweet potatoes, no lights, eat only sweet potatoes etc. At one school, some students actually came up to teachers and asked 'how do i eat them?' Wth. Some dont even know what they are.
Rained on tuesday and today. the school field is saved! the grasses are saved! they are turning back to green from brown.
March holidays coming up soon. time to mug. The pressure is building on the J2s. common test in 2 weeks time.
Teck whye pitch is done. it looks smaller though. must be the illusion. im so jealous.
i wish that i can climb over the fence with ease.

These two weeks are quite laid back, i should make use of the time to revise. The amount of break time i am getting is absurd though. there was compulsory choir audition today for the J1s. haha, that reminds me of Sec 1 when all of us were made to go for choir audition. people concentrated on singing well, i concentrated on not singing well.
Went for dental yesterday, i was made to go for x-rays and i was thinking 'Is $10 enough to foot the bill?' cos that was all that i had with me. the bill turned out to be $79.50. *faints* and that was after subsidy of about 40%. Set the date for my op :X

I was staring at my blog. wondering whether i should not be lazy and log in. I decided not to be lazy.
Was out for almost the entire past two days for house visiting. Most was spent at my grandma's house. and i learnt majong!! But i still dont know how to play taidi :X Been eating lots of nice food! :D But i refuse to eat those chocolate coins/ingots cos i will just spit them out. haha, chocolate snob. Received hongbaos too. Was wondering how my relatives would react when i tell them i would be repeating but they never even ask me like: why? the only person so far who asked me why was my dentist.

haha. I like my dentist but he's gonna leave next year! :( He's been persistantly trying to get me to do my op in June which i am still considering.

Watched Kungfu Dunk premiere of 4/2 with Cheryl. Gotten a pair of free tickets through mypaper compeitition and got to watch the movie before the official opening. Super happy when i received the sms and email telling me that i won :D i was given a pack of cards too! Luckily cheryl is not a fan of Jay if not we would have to fight for it. Personally, i found the movie nice cos i like jay chou AND basketball. those basketball moves were super cool!! and the fighting parts were nice too :D jay was retardedly cute in some scenes like the hand clapping parts. Go watch the movie! haha, Jay said that "Go watch the movie with an empty mind. You dont have to think for this movie." haha, how can he say that for his movie? xD he means that this movie is meant for relaxation and not those stressful thinking kind. if i have to compare, i would say that 'secret' is a nicer movie :)

Was checking up the cost of learning driving. to learn driving at the driving school near my house here, i will need to pay about 2k including the tests and lessons money. *faints* I was hoping i could learn it next year. yea, but i cant afford it though.

A few more days to lessons again. Valentine's day coming up. saw the prices of roses in the Urban section of The Straits Times. its pure daylight robbery. why would someone pay $2o for A STALK of rose.

Went to botanic garden to celebrate ade's birthday :) its been super long since i stepped into the botanic garden the garden. The last time i came was last year but i only went to the kopitiam and not the garden part. We had a picnic! Everyone brought tasty food :) We migrated a few times cos the rain clouds were playing with us. haha, at least we can shift easily unlike a couple that we saw who like brought their house with them. Really enjoyed myself last night!! :D Went with my mom instead of my sis cos she had some orientation thing. Went to city hall to take bus no.16 from a nearby bus-stop. It was super packed and we had to walk to the previous bus-stop so that we have a higher chance of getting on it.
Reached there at about 6 plus and went to queue up to buy the merchandise! Bought the files and the gong zai at the ‘shop’ but they didn’t have the handphone strap and the pink bag cos they were all sold out :X So we went to the east entrance to start queuing up so that we will be the ealier ones to go in. A loooong line form after we queued. HAH. Managed to get the strap from the store inside :) There was a bag check but they didn’t confiscate any camera :)
The concert started with a short preview of his upcoming movie ‘kung fu dunk’ (I want to watch!) and the screen started showing these cool images and jay appeared!!!
He sang: Huang Jin Jia, Wu Shuang, Zui Hou De Zhan Yi, Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi, Tui Hou, Mai Ya Tang, Niu Zai Hen Mang, Ting Ma Ma De Hua, Hei Se You Mo, Zui Chang De Dian Yin, An Jing, Bai Se Feng Che, Qian Li Zhi Wai, Ju Hua Tai, Ben Cao Gang Mu, Ye De Di Qi Zhang, Ye Qu, Mi Die Xiang, Shuang Jie Gun ( REALLY CUTE VERSION ), Cai Hong, Kai Bu Liao Kou, Tian Tian De. For the encore, he sang: Yang Guang Zai Nan, Fa Ru Xue, Huo Yuan Jia. He play the transparent piano for hei se you mo and zui chang de dian ying! *melts* There was the piano battle too!
Kept waving my lightsticks and accidentaly poking the girl beside me with it. But she was pretty nice about it and we just laughed it off. And we sang birthday songs for him. Sadly, hype records doesn’t want s’pore company to organise a celebration for him on stage. Jay kept um-chioing :) Towards the end, the crowd was really high :D and he came out for encore twice and played the guzheng!! ended at about 11.20 and reached home after 1am. REALLY really enjoyed myself. Hope to go to his next concert!!

My family joined the 8 days tour group and we extended four more days in taipei on our own. Enjoyed the trip quite a lot. I promised to go back again by myself/with friends in 5 years time :)

Ah zong mien xian!! Quite a famous shop at ximending. There are no seats at all. You have to stand and eat from the bowl and put the bowl into a bucket after finishing.

My fave bubble tea shop! The milk tea is very tasty and its cheap :)

The cup is bigger + the pearls are better +the mini pearls are really mini+the price is cheap = Really great drink. This cup only cost $1.50

On the last day, we manage to make our way to 'ding tai feng'. There was a crowd outside and we had to take a queue number. Ding tai feng was treated like a tourists' attraction with people snapping photos and videoing.

'Romantic Princess' is nice though its a bit the unrealistic. Angela chang's acting improvedquite a lot but erm.. wu zun still need to make much improvement.

'Ying ye 3 jia 1' is alright. the show is funny and the show cant be taken too seriously, its cartoon at certain parts.

show tends to drag during the ending. mingdao is of course as shuai as ever. qiao en acted well too.

'Huan huan ai' is quite nice. he jun xiang, wang chuan yi and yang chen ling acted well seeing how they worked together for a previous show. but i dont like the other dont-know-what-her name girl. her acting is eew fake.

Since it has been already 3 years since Jay’s last concert, all the fans have been eagerly waiting for the “Jay Chou 2007 World Tour”. The first leg of the concert will be held on the 10th November in “Pan-Chiao Stadium, Taipei County”. From tomorrow onwards, all Taiwanese 7-Eleven stores and the ibone blog website will start selling tickets for the event. Jay has abandoned the Taipei Arena and moved to the “Pan Chiao Stadium” to accommodate an estimated 30 000 fans and to make it more aesthetically pleasing with all the effects involved. This will be Jay’s first worldwide concert after he became boss…and will involve songs from all seven albums, in addition to the songs in the new album which is scheduled to be released in October… estimated to be performing around 30 songs. Jay confidently stated that “the atmosphere and ambience will give people a surprise…much better than three years ago, it will be cool! Dancing wise… there will be more dance choreography than before. In fact, I have learned many new things.”
The concert poster is quite secretive but does display the general feel of the concert. The fans, lanterns and chrysanthemum flowers show that there definitely will be Chinese aspects but the machines and film rolls hints that Director Chou will not forget this feature as well… producing a show which will be outstanding.
In terms of the stage layout, they have chosen to use a special circular setup, which will allow the fans to be encircled by the stage. The tickets in this area will be a bit more expensive, at TWD $4000 each, but will allow very close VIP contact with Jay. Rain, Ricky Martin and even the European MTV Awards have once used a similar stage setup as the one which Jay will be utilising.
Jay’s new worldwide tour has been kept a secret for ages…invitations to perform at overseas locations are already fully booked till next year but he still insisted that the first concert be performed in his hometown of Taiwan. After Taiwan, on the 24th November will be the Shanghai concert, with which tickets have already been made on sale to the public. In the space of two hours time, all tickets were already sold out. Jay will be performing in HK at the start of December and by that month’s end performing in Los Angeles. February 2008 will be the Tokyo stop for the concert.
Japanese band w-inds will be performing in the Taipei Arena on the same day as Jay’s concert. JVR replied that they are not concerned as w-inds will be holding concerts on two days… since fans of both Jay and w-inds have a choice of which one to attend.

my blog must be rotting with marimo after ages of not blogging. i have changed the skin again! reasons being that the screen is super wide which i like and a bit of zi lian reason is that there is an angel. but its a boy though. hahaha :D

this is gonna be one lone post...

Exams ended on thurs. i think this week had been rather horrible. i was on the verge of breakdown quite a few times. in fact, until now even though the exams have ended, i still have this feeling of guilt that i should not be using the computer and should be studying for something. arrgh. i read in the newspaper that a study was done on 35-55 years old and it was found that those who slept for less that 5 hours a day have twice the risk of getting a heart disease. oh my. yar, even though it was not a local study and it was not on teenagers, wont that mean that a large percentage of singapore students would be wiped out in the future? considering how much time is required for school work.

i have finished watching the hana kimi episodes that were loaded onto crunchyroll. now, im waiting for the last episode. i found a mingdao show!! 'ying ye 3+1'. the show is a bit drama mama. but the actors and actresses are good and their mo qi is good. so yar, its quite nice and funny. just dont take the plot too seriously. i will try putting show reviews on this blog :) Mingdao is super cute in this show!!

went to orchard after exams and took neos :) i bought a brownie on my way to the mrt too. super nice. the school has stopped selling posh brownies cos they claimed that it was too sweet. the school must have decided that i need to save money and stop collecting the posh stickers.

im very afraid of my results. im not being pessimistic but i know that my results are not good. i really really want to get promoted. if not, i will really really consider whether i would want to go to poly. if i do, then i would either take business as it is like useful or tourism, what with the upcoming IR and the prospect of travelling. and i would take up a japanese module. but the expenses are high, laptops, travelling etc. and of course no uniforms. i like uniforms. and i dont have like much outside clothes.

there is pw on tues......no.............! doing my I and R now. haha, supposedly doing.

i wanna go library and borrow storybooks. i have not touched a story book for so long that i feel guilty. i feel so intellectually deprived. haha xD

the greatest invention on earth is the television followed by the internet. without the television, how would people come up with acting and drama serials? and of course, the internet lets me watch these shows for FREE.

school has been horrible this past two weeks except for yesterday :X too many tests and too little time.

i almost died on thurs when we had to hand in two files. i only slept for three plus hours on wednesday night to prepare my economics file for thursday. and as i was about to off my table lamp that night (or morning if you want to call it cos its past midnight) at about two thirty plus, i heard some sound from the living room. and i freaked cos its like the seventh month. i quickly off my light and jumped right onto my bed.

this year's seventh month is pretty peaceful. last year, i could hear plenty of dogs barking.

yesterday was the teacher's day celebration. i hate the mud. it rained pretty heavily the day before and made the grassy portion of the canal side muddy. and i stepped into a puddle and my super absorbent shoe soaked the muddy water like a spongebob. super the gross. later, most pioneers went about searching for water and tissues for washing and pretended or forgot that they were supposed to go up to the hall directly. poor cleaners. we walked around the school in our muddy shoes.
the celebration was alright. the catwalk was the most entertaining. and the teachers all dressed up very prettily/cooly. and the justin timberlake impersonator was super cool :)
after that we wanted to go back to css BUT it was closed. so we waited for ben and shitien and went to catch Ratatouille. its quite nice!! :D what if all the food. and the animators paid a lot of attention to details like how the rat walks, his behaviour etc. and the part where nerves could be contolled by hair pulling was super cute. after that we went to take neos and i gotta rush home. i bought a patrick toy!! its smaller than my spongebob though.

my sis managed to borrow the secret soundtrack. super nice piano pieces like the piano battle. i love jay chou!! :D i printed the secret piano score and made my sis play it. super nice. and she borrowed some others piano scores too. gonna make her play it :))

hi! back after gazillion days. changed my blogskin as i decided to give lambos a rest and change to something more girly x)

had learning journey to the asian civilisation museum last fri. it was supposed to be the prison school but it so happened that the prison school disallowed any more vists. so yar, we went to the museum instead. it was alright. and there was this place where we can get to try the costumes. will post the pics when i get them :) after that went to raffles city for dinner and i bought my sis a wallet to replace her lost one.

my results are downright horrible, terrible, vegetable... my mom met jasima last tues. nth much though. i already 'warned' my mom of my results the night before so that she wont go bersek when jasima shows her. she just showed my mom my results and said that i never gave her any problems in class blah blah. then they went on to talk abouy my sis. the whole thing was barely 15 mins. so i decided to stay for night study.

been watching and slacking. and i saw the freaky scv advertisement 5 times. the advertisement was about promoting the ghost movies that will be screened during the seventh month. but well, its freaky. my mom told me about it before i first saw it so i managed to glance away when the advertisement started. but after 3 times, i decided to watch it so that i will know what i am scared of. -_- eww.. dont watch it.

next mon is seventh month.

wed was ndp celebration. we chose the wrong place to sit in the hall. we waited after the celebration cos we were supposed to have a gp test but in the end it was cancelled. we hung around to wait for mabel and took some pics :) haha, my sis was our photographer.

had listening today. it was alright. heard two of the stories before though.

had arts day on sat. there was the salad making competition and talentime. there was quite a few good singers. not the live band. mas got second!!

later, rushed to vivo to watch harry potter with ade, ben, cher, mabel and sihui. the movie was erm....... just imagine, the thickest harry potter book squeezed into a about 2 and a 1/2 hour movie. i think the director had an easy time filming. a lot of parts were chopped off. like, the twins flyaway part. it is the part which i was most looking forward to. unfortunately... and the sirus's death part. he just faded away to death. not dramatic at all. those who never read the book may not understand the story. those who read, are very dissapointed with it :(

after that, we went to take pics with the simpsons family. and we went to the pet shop too. the animals there were super adorable! and even though the dogs clothes are small..they cost quite a bit more than humans' clothes :X spoilt pets of today. haha, but i think that if i have a pet, i would pampered it to. then we went to the sort of garden there to take pics. and we climbed onto the marche cow to take pics too. thanks ben! for helping us clamber onto it. and lol, cheryl splited her skirt.

then we went around to take more pics. me and sh saw this three guys about 14 years old SMOKING!! i hate smokers. and whatsmore at this age. and they were obviously trying too hard to act cool. i took a pic and they saw us looking at them and thought we were eye-candying them. oh please, we have much better taste.

I hate my finger.

okay..not really. i just hate it now. my finger was alright early afternoon even though the plaster was sort if coming off. then came hockey. i cant bend my finger cos of the plaster so i decided to take it off. and the plaster was exerting pressure on the wound anyway. squeezing the blood out. eeeww... then, i attempted to sweep. i didnt dare to bend low cos of the finger. then after a while, my finger really started hurting :( eveytime i hit, the impact will literally be felt by my finger. then then, late afternoon, i realised my finger started swelling to more than one-third of its usual size. super ugly. and har, skin still havent grown over the wound yet. so yar, you can like see the flesh and no skin. my epithelium was not in existence. so after that, i cant play anymore cos i cant hit properly or hold the stick properly. i can only hold it with my index finger sticking out.

and today is the third day i am doing stuff like washing the dishes with one hand. i feel like a handicapped :(

it better heal soon.

the teacher was like prompting me. again and again. i am so dead. he said the convo question and when i was about to answer, going : "i feel that.." (in chinese lar) I TOTALLY FORGOT THE QUESTION!!! i sat there, feeling stunned and there was this awkward pregnant pause before i sort of remember what he asked. i am so dead... and when i was reading the passage halfway, she told me to read louder and i started stuttering for the rest. dead dead dead. and my braces made me sounded 'lou feng' -_- and the teachers kept feeling in the blanks for me. oh wells, this well be the last oral in my education life (hopefully). i do not have to take tests in speaking chinese anymore!!! yay!!

i got a U for my chem. this was totally expected. at least its not a single digit. and i got a E for my maths. improve hor.. seeing as i have the ability to fail my previous A and E maths test a lot of times. next is geo and econs. after looking at the econs case studies answers on the portal, i doubt i can pass. :X

why no games for PE!!!!! she made us run 5 rounds. why fitness and conditioning again?? i want games!! and its a relief teacher. looks like shes a hocker too. HAH, she does not know me unlike ms Lian.

whee~ had great fun yesterday!! theres plenty of pics but i didnt usemy camera cos i was simply too lazy so i have to get them from the rest later. we went to centrepoint to get cheryl her helium balloon. then after that we walked to taka for lunch. on the way, we saw people holding onto these orange balloons so we wanted them too. we saw the people giving them out and we took the postcards they were giving out thinking that they will give us the balloons too but no...! they only gave them to little kids which we obviously are not. so, we did the next best thing. we opened our mouths to ask them :D so four of us were holding ballons and walking to taka with cheryl's attempting to hit as many people as possible xD Then...there was these roadshow offering FREE airbrush tattoos so we hung around and everyone had one done on their arm. the colour was super real like the real thing.
then, i looked across the road and saw a LAMBORGHINI. At the same place where a saw the lamborghini gallardo the other time. on the way to taka, i went to take a pic(s) of it. and a ferrari just came too. it was a LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO LP640!!! in yellow. it seems like yellow lambo are the only ones i see on the road. i was so afraid of being chased away by the valet parking people. there was this uncle sweeping around the cars and he gave me the 'what are you doing here look' -_-'' after lunching at taka, we walked over to cathy and met shitien. went up to the top floor and booked a room took a couple of pics and when our booked time came we went in and watched over the hedge. i seriously thing my eyesight deprove even more cos the tv screen was right in our faces with less than a metre from us. and the tv is those super super big LCD type. not some tiny 20 inches tv. the show was funny :) then we celebrated cheryl's, clara's and ttk's birthday for them. haha, cheryl was going "i want donut!!". then we went down to take neoprints. in the lift, this girl went "HUH?" *BLINK* "HUH?" *BLINK* verry loudly when sihuiuu nicely told her to help us press the second floor cos we cant touch the lift buttons. Grr...whats her problem? i shall not say her race for fear of being sued for race discrimination and get hauled up to court at such a tender age. and the neoprint machine took the pics super fast. we barely had time to change places.
after that, i literally flewed home cos i was past my cufew time.

went for wisdom tooth surgery yesterday :X i was made to wear this paper disposable shower cap thingy, paper booties and a robe to make sure i dont dirty the surgery room. i sat around for a while and then got called into operating theater 3. while the anesthetist was injecting the ma zui medicine into my mouth, i was cringing cos i thought that it would hurt loads but then it was alright. then the nurse or someone covered me with a blanket( i dont know what for) and covered my eyes so that i dont go blind from the lights. they slit opened my gum and started sawing away >.< the doc went 'u will heard a loud sound' seconds later, i heard rrr-ing noises and they began cutting the embedded tooth into pieces. then the doc went 'u will hear a crack sound' then i heard crack. not crack thought, it was cracks. then after dont know how many minutes, they took out all the pieces and sitched my gum with black sitches. and i have to remove the stiches next week.. ahh!!!!!!!!
went to IMM after that to shop for groceries with my parents and that was when the ma zui medicine start to wear off :X wemt home and took the painkillers. woke up this morning not feeling any pain and i hope it remains like that. but then, my right cheek swelled. which means i cant go out. and i cant exercises too!! boohoo. and i rejected getting an MC from the doc.

Happy belated vesak day!
went lunching with my family and relatives yesterday =) after that went to neaby bras brasah to gai gai. wanted to get some books/magazines but most of the shops were closed, even art friend -_-'' so i went into the huge popular and walked around. and..i found the car collectibles models!! the cars that i had tried so hard to find in spore after seeing it in malaysia. so far, i only know vivo sells car collectibles models and those are the not cheap one. i stood there and chose and chose and dug out from the pile of car models: a lambo polizia, a lambo rgt and a red and white mini cooper =)) but its size is very small. like ratio 1:87 compared with the actual thing. then i got my sis to pay them for me as my birthday presents =))

then we went to centrepoint cos mom wanted to go to john little then afterwards we walked over to taka. as we were on the way, we walked past forum galleria or smth and a vjc girl approached us for flag day. as we were standing there, i saw a black sports car. and i went 'nice!' then then..i spotted something yellow. i stared at it for a while and almost chiong over cos it was a LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO in yellow!!!! i got the camera from my mom and walked past the fence that separate the car from the pavement. a few people were taking pics already.

1st week of hols

its the first week of holidays and what have i accomplished so far? hmm..erm... nothing! :P better start on my school work soon...

went ice skating with adeline, amanda, cheryl, mabel, sihui and taikoon yesterday. it was fun! =) the rink was not packed since it was not the official school holidays yet. but there were these little ang moh kids that were zooming aroung and freaking me out. and adeline and taikoon learnt to skate in these 3 hours that we were there =) especiallt ade, whos a super fast learner.
we played ice-catching too. some of them fell down and poor sihui bruised her knee. hope you heal soon =) lets go agian guys!

and i FINALLY pierced my ears. On sunday, me, da jie and my mom were walking around wisma atria

me: (a bit shocked cos she was adamant that we were not to pierce our ears until a looong time later) really? erm.. 'Bits and Pieces' is really cheap and should be realible. and its $10.

then we went in. i went to pierced first and choose this tiny sliver star studs. i wanted to choose the blue studs but luckily i didnt cos i only found out after that i can only changed my earring:s after 4 weeks. if i use the blue ones, CBT sure catch me. it was not pain. seriously. my ears just turned red and were 'burning' for about an hour or so. after that, it was alright le. but now, my ears feel sore cos i keep forgetting and get my earrings pulled or smth. now to look for a cute mickey/minnie earrings =)

was suppose to go out for dinner today but for sOmE reasons...it was cancelled... :(

had hockey training this morning cos yesterday had an incomplete training. but then, it was tooo hot to train and i had a free tanning session instead. i am getting darker and darker and darker and i never get burned before... people will be calling me maria soon :(

had a fire drill on Thurs at the end of our class recess. we were sitting outside the cafe eating our food when the bell( or alarm??) sounded. we were like 'huh?' and continue munching away. lol! how were we supposed to know that was the real thing? cos the school had been testing the bells for days and there were plenty of false alarm. until the teachers started streaming down and saying that thats the real thing and people went 'orh...' and made their way to the field. slowly. seriously, if its the real thing, we will most probably perish. and in the field, we overshot our class standing space and had to u-turn. and the school took almost half an hour to settle down and the P went 'good'. wahaha! if its css, the P would go ' (blah blah) MINUTES! THE SCHOOL TOOK (blah blah) MINUTES TO SETTLE DOWN! CAN ALL OF YOU TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY??'

Even though i only went back to CSS only twice and never get to see you guys at all, i have been visiting the dance blogs for updates. i was very touched by the pictures which really showed the efforts you guys have putting in. results are not everything, having done your best is the most important =)

yesterday was FRIDAY the 13th O.0 but nope, nothing unlucky or even resembles unluckiness occured.

My thighs still ache badly. From the lunges we did during pe. training on the exact same day further enahanced the pain :X i was trampling around the school like a T-rex (cheryl's words xD). on thurs and fri morning, i was walking down the slope from where my papa dropped me off and i seriously seriously almost tumbled down the slope. i bet it was not a very nice sight to see me walk these two days... -_-

PI. Everyone is going crazy because of it. it is also the reason why i am still online at this time and yet to study for my maths test.

we were grouped into our PW groups today. as amanda and me had guessed, we were numbered off from the namelist. but, unpredictably, the numbering off started with 2 instead of 1. im pretty happy with my group. Jody, jannah, clifford and dallas. hope we will have fun doing the pw! =D all the commonwealthians(or commoners, which people like to call) are in pairs in each group. which means ade+sihui, amanda+cheryl, Ttk+mabel, me+clifford.

and i found out that the purple character in mcdonalds is called 'grimace'. simin suddenly asked for its name during training and i realised that i could name the rest (birdie, ronald, hamburglar) except for the purple triangle thing. the question was stuck in my head and so, i did some research on it... xD

apparently, the characters are not loved even though i personally find them cute. these are the positive things on them...

hiya peeps! have not updated for a long time cos i was simply to lazy to. =P

i am so so dead for the chem test... i have flink flank flunk the test...arrgh

i bought my shin guards le! well, not really, since yueli was the one who helped buy them. they are nike and super shiny red! and my sis was chosen to play in the Nationals! wahaha, cant wait to see her in the tiny black skirt. xD and i seriously need to work hard on my stickwork and coordination.

the tutorials are all piling up =(

and i just realised that the guy i saw quite a few times was Magnus. no wonder he seems familiar. now there is only 1 anthonian that i have yet to see.

Pw grouping will be given to us this week. hope its a good one. well, actually theres no bad one.

this week was alright, all lectures and no tutorials yet. have plenty to catch up on especially in chemistry :X and theres like 20 plus Anthonians. and unfortunately, i still cant recognise many of 07S06 people :X

first day of lessons

hip hip HURRAY!!! there are 7 blue people in 07S06!! 6 of whom are from 4/3 =D i am sooo happy. actually, i knew that i was posted to which class on Sat le cos my sis's friend went to school to check. i asked for amanda and found out that she was in the same class too!!! i was very happy le and when i asked for ttk, i found that he was in the same class too!! i asked for mabel etc but she said that she cant find the names so i decided not to mafan her to help me anymore :) but then, on that day, i still dont believe my luck until i saw it with my own eyes.

went earlier to school to check out the board and i found out that me, amanda, mabel, sihui, adeline, ttk, cheryl koh(if she was still in pj) are all in the same class!!!!!! whooo!!!! where got so heng one? and there are like 6 classes in total with the same combi. and later i found out clifford was too in our class. though i dont know him. sadly, :( fangyi was separated from us cos he didnt take Amaths :(( super sad...

there are like 30 people in the class and only 1/5 are guys. lolx, girl power. hope that this quite large class can be united and that we will have great two years =)

my voice is gone... i think i tortured my friends with my silence today. i could only communicate through smsing. Thanks goodness for the invention of handphones! or i would really be mute. amanda has lots of stuff to tell me but unfotunately, i cant reply =X so she was mostly having a one way conversation with me making a pathetic attempt to reply. lol...if i did not look at her or gave any indication that i was listening to her, ppl would think that she had gone bonkers and was talking to herself XD hopefully, i would recover before next Mon.

cheryl and shitien is gone.. =( our group is shrinking.

read in the newspaper a few days ago that people are lamenting about JCs qualified people taking up space in the polys. well, nowdays, poly is not only for those who cant get into JCs. Now it depends on what one wants to study/prefer. thats the reality in singapore. good reults are a key tool to survival. which schools doesnt want better scoring students? its not rare to find single pointers in polys le. jia you ba future generation!!

was blog surfing around when i chanced upon xiaxue's blog. hmm..really dont get why she caused such a hooha in the blogging world. since she knows that her blog is read by plenty daily, she should blog with more depth. oooh..i 'criticised' her. maybe someone will flame me and i will be famous if increasing people come and flame me.

had a 4/3 class outing last week. it was super nice. talk, eat and laugh :D miss ya guys loads! and the food was nice too :) will post the pics soon...
hmm, what else? oh ya, posted to PJ. was super afraid that i cant cos the competition level was quite high, and there are about 1060 students in PJ!! a few hundred more than the usual intake of about 800 o.O all i can say is whoa! heard that the top scorers from zhenghua came to pj too. dont know whether its the truth though. met quite a few anthonians too :) quite disappointing was the orientation. i quite enjoyed myself at 01 but seems unable to at 02 :(
i really really hope that i will be able to get into the same class as u amanda dear! i would feel so lost without you :X

last day of school

Today was sort of the last day of school. during CT, ms kat brought drinks and potato chips for us for the farewell party. sobx, two mths and 07Ao4 is separated. have to make new friends again. here are the pics taken at the farewell. waiting for more pics since amanda's internet is down and she is MIA at the moment. why? cos she, ade and mabel are at OGL camp now. hope that they will get to be my OGLs at orientation... it will be super fun :) went to Lot 1 for lunch and i ate super slowly while mabel and ade went home to get their stuff. me and amanda chatted a lot and KFC from full of people became 1/4 empty. Imagine the amount of time we sat there. hope you guys have fun at the camp!

Happy Birthday Sihui!

Extracted two teeth on Mon. It was pretty painless except for the injection part which hurt for like three seconds. The dentist was quite nice and said sorry after poking me with the numbing liquid. wanted to close my eyes when he injected my mouth but decided to open them instead so that i can see what he was doing throughout. after the injection, i was told to rinse my mouth. i wanted to swish the water in my mouth but instead, i drooled the water out... the numb medicine took place faster than i expected. the main dentist put some rubber bands between some teeth to make a gap for the braces. i keep getting the urge to pluck them out. the feeling is like having food stuck between your teeth. it didnt hurt at first but then on tues, my teeth started feeling suan. erm...cos the teeth are squashed together? hmm.. but its alright today. i mostly nibble with my front teeth. will be putting braces on next week if nth goes wrong. starting JAE with braces. hope i dont spit/drool on my new peers. eew...

this week is the last week of the PAE. enjoy! =)

arrgh...had bad food poisoning... barely slept as i puked my way throughout the night like the Merlion. was feeling unwell in on Fri morning le. hmm...was it because of the many gummy sweets that i ate or because of the fortune cookie soaked in sparkling juice? Wanted to visit a doctor but felt much better in the morning so decided not to allow the doctor to earn my money. Angel is STRONG!! xP luckily the food poisoning did not occur during the chinese new year period. even if i wanted to go to the doctor, there would be none and i would have to go to the hospital instead :X

Went for dinner at Hotel Asia with my family yesterday. yum yum! did not have such great food for a long time. after that we went to chinatown for some new year shopping but we didnt buy anything much, only some mochi. And i saw a LAMBORGHINI!! we were trying to cross a road when i heard this revving sound. 'vroom..' . i began looking around and to my utter amazement, i saw a Lambo in its yellow glory. *swoons* my fave car in my fave sports car colour. and of all places, in chinatown. whee~

tralala! received our results today. i got 15 which was my target! whew ^^ i was so scared that i would get 20+++. whee! will be staying in PJ =) my sis got 9! smarty pants! i was practically grinning when i heard her results. she really deserves it =)) and of cos...Amanda! i am so happy for you :D all the worries for nth, have faith in yourself. all the effort you put in has been paid off!

i am so proud/happy for the class. 4/3 made much improvement in their results. during prelims, not all were eligible for JCs/ Polys and yet, everyone is now eligible for JCs. congrats my friends!!

CSS improve from last year even though we were said to be the worst batch of all. hah! 96.5% were eligible for JCs and 100% of sec 5 are eligible for polys, up from 64% of last years batch =) after getting our results, we hung around to take pics and blah blah. after that, 10++ of 4/3 peeps when to JP for dinner. we went to pizza hut and these are some of the pics.... still waiting for more pics to be sent to me. some ppl called me 'mom' and 'ckw'... grr... anyway, here are the some pics!

Ahhh!!!!!!!!!!! tomorrows the big day! *pulls hair* i had been ultra nervous for the past few days and today, no one was really paying attention to the lectures/tutorial including me :p i shall hope for the best! be positive! had some more pics to load! mostly containing Amanda. Seriously, if some one were to steal my phone, they would think the phone owner is her and not me. most of the pics inside contains her. i do not mean this in a bad way Amanda! :D

today we celebrated Melissa bdae and a early bdae for Sarah. there was a cake and they recieved one floaty balloon each. i love floaty balloons! i always try to get one if i see anyone holding it in shopping malls. i dont like balloon-on-stick. there is no fun in balloons challenged by gravity. floaty balloons are anti-gravity :) erm..okay, getting a bit out of point here...

i am liking my class more and more. and of course, hockey too! played a mini hockey game during wed training. everyone was just going crazy, screaming and running after the ball. it was super fun even though some ppl were injured :( so far, my experience in PJ is fun :)

went to JJC funfair after training on Sat since it was nearby. met shitien, adeline, Liwee and benjamin there. saw quite a lo of commonwealthians. we walked around and later ended up in the field. we were so fascinated by the synthetic grass and the fake soil that we decided to sit on it to try how it feels like. we met Pengtiong and Jiajun at the track. here are the pics.. :)

JOINT ADMISSIONS EXERCISE (JAE)

The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is conducted annually by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to allow holders of Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level Certificate to apply for admission to courses offered by Junior Colleges (JC), Millennia Institute (MI), Polytechnics (Poly), and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

The JAE 2007 registration will be held over a period of 6 calendar days (including Sunday), starting from 3.00 pm on the 1st day of registration until 4.00 pm on the last day of registration. The exact registration dates will be published in the media together with the release of the examination results in the second week of February.

had a okay week. had hockey on mon, wed and fri. it was nice except for the running part which i detest a bit... in total, plus pe, i have ran 9.6 KM = 9600 M = 24 rounds around the field. yeah! a great accomplishment for me. really sorry amanda, i cant pei u run le... :'( i have no choice. dun be mad at me k? it was ade's bdae on wed. everyone pretended not to know its her bdae. mwahaha... we are evil. after school, those who are free went for pepper lunch and then surprised her with a cake and celebrated her bdae. those who cant go, made a video for her instead =)

i should have done this earlier... erm... much earlier but better late than never!

To Amanda: my ultra great friend. known you for ten years le and we are in the same school, same class again =) without you, i think my school life would be a total bore. your loudness, your blurness and slowness (though it may be irritating at times. =p) made my life interesting. =D i really appreciate your presence. hmm..quite difficult to sum up all in a post. wait for valentine day =) shall give u a 'love' letter. LOL!! for ur info, i am straight ppl!

third week of school

boo! its the end of the third week of school. this week we started with tutorials le and rarely get to be in the same class for lessons with the rest of the cssians. and they made us sit in class during lectures :'( . but at least we still share the same recess and lunch break.

went back to css on wed to help out with the orientation thing. i so do not like the new school. hmm..maybe its cos the whole school was at camp. sec 1: orientation. sec 2: camping somewhere. sec 3: camping at pulau ubin(mwahaha, our sec 3 level camp was so much better). sec 4: study camp. i did not have any feelings with the new school building le, all i can say is that it is a great waste of space. the sec ones uniforms are weird too. and oh ya, the sec ones especially the guys, are shrinking over the years what are they eating? had to withdraw from the thurs orientation cos lessons ended too late and was unable to make it on time.

today i had only chinese lesson, CT and assembly. during the chinese lesson, we were supposed to do self intro but i did intro for amanda and vice-verse. one of the thing amanda said was "she like jay chou. but i find him very ugly" grr.. but i will forgive her cos she said very nice thing about me. i nice hor amanda? =D

ms kat refused to tell us her age but i found out something... :)

went for hockey training. almost died from the run but i felt that it was quite an achievement cos i did not stop during the 2km run. yeah! but the training was quite alright overall. after 4 years of dancing, sports felt quite fresh. thats why i didnt want to dance anymore, i wanted to try something new and which i have interest in. and my sis with me too :)

end of first week of school

today is the end of the second week of school and the end of three days of lessons. The lectures are alright and J1s lessons end early at about 12+ to 2+ cos we have yet to attend tutorials.

Amanda and kathleen is in the same class as me!!! whee ~ ~ 3 commonwealthians in the same class. we had civic tutorial yesterday with our class. our CT teacher was quite nice. i dont know the rest of the class yet. our class is made up of 24 ppl. ans during the self introduction, the teacher asked me "what do you think of the class?" and i went "okay..." . hmm...i dont even know the class ppl yet, how can i answer the question. but the ppl seems nice.

next week is css sec 1 orientation! the ex-sec fours and five are going back to help out =) cant wait to see the new school and the ppl.

was chatting with ced and amanda on thurs. i just realised how much i miss talking to both of them at the same time. sobz.. we were so high and kept using capital letters and were practically screaming at each other. ckgf.. grrr! *glare at cedric* lol.. sort of miss getting suan by them..

and ahhh!! next month is the released of the Os results! *screams* hope i dont faint at my results.
